Zidela wines were founded in 2001 as a family owned company.
The head office is situated in the beautiful town of Stellenbosch in the heartland of the South African wine industry.

Danie Kritzinger
(Managing Director)
- Graduated at the University of Stellenbosch Bsc Agric with Viticulture, Winemaking and Wine Chemistry
- Seventeen years experience as winemaker
- Fifteen years experience as chief wine buyer for the biggest wine company in South Africa
- Served in various wine tasting panels such as Veritas and South African Young Wine Show
- Served as Board Member for the South African Society for Winemaking and Viticulture and South African Wine Information Systems
Herman Nell
(Production Manager)
- Graduated at the University of Stellenbosch (BSc Agric with Viticulture and Winemaking)
- Winemaker at Stellenbosch Farmers
- Winery Quality Control Manager at Stellenbosch Farmers Winery and Distillers Corporation
- Cellarmaster at The Bergkelder, Stellenbosch
Jaco Kritzinger
(Marketing and Logistics)
- Degree in Commerce
- Diploma in Winemaking
- Three years winemaker at Distillers Corporation
